I love them all, especially the sloth and the boats. Guess what? We took all our photos with a point and shoot last year as well – I didn’t want to buy a new DSLR and worry about it all year, not to mention how hard it is to take some of the shots we got while trekking (like the volcano climb) with a heavy camera. At least for me anyway – I’m with you. I just got a new DSLR a few days ago though now that we’re back to taking only short trips. But after the great results I got with my little Canon Ixus 980IS, I’m sure I won’t be retiring that little gem anytime soon =)

Yeah, seriously. I got done with this post and had to put at least 10 photos in a folder with plans to make them the highlight of their own special post because they didn’t get chosen haha. Rafting is definitely DQ’d, but I rarely get a photo with me in it, so whatevs

Hi Erin,
Wow. Like picking your favorite kid. I love the whitewater pic, but since you didn’t take it, I DQd it. I love the Crabby McCrabberson. The color is full, the lighting is wonderful and I imagine he didn’t stick around long posing.

Fantastic Pics I Love Them All but my Two Favs are your Rafting the Pacuare Pic because of the combination of Beautiful Nature,Adventure and Danger and The Pic of Playa Hermosa because I stayed there on a couple of my trips to CR so it brings back fantastic memories for me,Thanks Erin for Sharin Lindsay

Costa Rica’s version of the Bogeyman is “El Coco”, it’s supposed to be everywhere, so seeing El Coco in Coco seems appropiate, dont u think?

The tour of the dead in Edinburgh rocks! I did it last december, both the underground and the haunted graveyard… Back to the topic, that’s a really cool picture, and I love that place, so many stories and such amazing (yet creepy) buildings. I’m from Cartago so I’ve been there and I can tell you it’s not unusual to see people going on a night tour to the Sanatorio. There are even some who go camping in there! That’s too much for me!

I love reading your Tweets and your blog.I`ve been to CR 6 times as a tourist and really love CR.All places have their quirks and going from one curlture to another takes ajusting.I hate people who go to CR as tourists and expect everything to be the same in Canada where I live or in the US but over all Canadians seem a lot more tolorent to other cultures than Americans.Keep blogging and tweeting
