Me and Sara
I just got back from a 2 week trip to South Carolina for Sara’s wedding. The wedding was fabulous and it was nice to have some extra time to stock up on some supplies and visit with family and friends. I’m glad to be back in Costa Rica with Julio and the dogs, though. I’ve only been living here for 2 1/2 months, but I’ve already adjusted to the simpler way of life and most definitely the temperature. I never in my life imagined that one day I would be comfortably driving around SC in 90°F heat with the windows rolled up and no AC. It happened. I was freezing the whole time I was in SC.
We’ve had some chilly nights here in Costa Rica since I have been back, though. The temperature has been getting down to about 65°F at night and Julio and I actually had to put on long pants and shirts the other night. I’m glad I packed a few warm clothes when I moved, despite thinking I was an idiot as I was doing it 😀
For my next vacation outside of Costa Rica, I might have to go down south, maybe explore Panama 🙂
